Summary
Facebook Stages is a branded offer under the Facebook company brand and serves as a virtual event solution seamlessly integrated with Facebook’s product ecosystem to deliver unparalleled live social experiences at scale.
I lead the execution of the UI design for this project.

Below is a video summarizing the product.

Area
Design System

This project had an aggressive timeline for completion so I knew we had to create a design system that could easily scale and help us as we did constant iterations. Right at the beginning of the project I got to work building out the bones of our system to build all of our designs with, and even included visual assets like images that we would use and update to breathe life into the work. Spending a couple weeks up front on this system saved us tons of time as we built out each feature.

Below you can see some snippets from this system. Use command + scroll to zoom in and out.

Area
Attendee Experience

The core attendee experience included pages such as a landing page where a user entered the event, an event lobby, waiting room, the live sessions, agenda, speaker details, and more. Below are some screens from this experience.

Area
Brand Explorations

Another goal of this product was the ability to white label it. First internally, and then externally as the project grew. First, we did some explorations on how we could use the unique characteristics of Facebook's different products to theme Stages properly.

Summary
I was a part of an incubator group that developed new ideas for Facebook's Assistant within their Portal devices. On this team we would come up with new ideas for features that could be built into Facebook Assistant. My hands-on role was creating the final motion prototypes that we would send to stakeholders and developers, as well as being involved in the ideation process.

Below you can see a sizzle video of a few of the ideas and full motion prototypes I developed.
